yes, it freezes exactly as described on 8.04 (alpha4; las synced 2008-Feb-08) I then downloaded version 1.2.12 from mysql.com (x86 distribution-independed .tar.gz pacjage), but it behaves exactly the same way. Thus I suppose it is more likely mysqld bug then of mysql-query-browser.
