H MoBeR, Can you try booting with the 'irqpoll' option. That will at least hopefully get rid of one of the errors I was noticing in your dmesg output. Care to then reattach your new dmesg output?
Also I just wanted to add another note here. Hardy Alpha 4 will be out within the next day or two. You can download and try the new Hardy Heron Alpha release from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/hardy/ . You should be able to then test the new kernel via the LiveCD.
