IDE devices, connected to IDE part of Jmicron controller now work. SATA disks connected to SATA part of Jmicron controller also work, but it's not possible to boot from it (grub error 15, iirc).
ICH8 SATA controller doesn't work. This is a known situation. This is another bug and is totally unrelated to this bug. In Dapper is other way arround. ICH8 works, but Jmicron doesn't. So, you can easily install Dapper using PXE boot/install. So, there's no need for anymore confirmation.
