I can confirm that I experienced the same issue with my AMD Radeon RX
9060 XT 16GB on Linux Mint 22.3 (based on Ubuntu 24.04 Noble).

After updating `linux-firmware-amd-graphics` from
`20240318.git3b128b60-0ubuntu3.3` to `20240318.git3b128b60-0ubuntu3.4`,
my system failed to start the graphical session after reboot.

The symptoms were consistent with the reported issue:
- Black screen during boot.
- AMDGPU / DMUB-related display errors.
- Unable to reach the graphical login screen.

I managed to regain access to my desktop, but the issue persisted as a
potential problem on subsequent boots.

**Workaround confirmed:**

I downgraded the package to version `20240318.git3b128b60-0ubuntu3.3`
using:

`sudo apt install --allow-downgrades ./linux-firmware-amd-
graphics_20240318.git3b128b60-0ubuntu3.3_all.deb`

I then regenerated all initramfs images:

`sudo update-initramfs -u -k all`

And prevented the faulty version from being reinstalled:

`sudo apt-mark hold linux-firmware-amd-graphics`

After rebooting, the graphical session started normally again.

This confirms that downgrading to version `0ubuntu3.3` resolves the
issue on my hardware.

**System information:**
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB (RDNA4)
- OS: Linux Mint 22.3 (Ubuntu 24.04 Noble)
- Affected package: `linux-firmware-amd-graphics`
- Working version: `0ubuntu3.3`
- Affected version: `0ubuntu3.4`

I hope this additional report helps confirm the scope of the regression
and assists in finding a fix for RDNA4 GPUs.
