Public bug reported:

fuse 2 is no longer maintained for Debian and Ubuntu. I think it ought
to be removed from Ubuntu. It can't be removed from Ubuntu until Ubuntu
Desktop Flavors stop including it in their default install.

My understanding is that it's been included because it is required to
use older AppImage apps. fuse3 has been in Ubuntu main since Ubuntu
22.04 LTS. So by the time Ubuntu 27.04 is released, it will have been 5
years. I think it's time to let fuse 2 be removed.
