Hi, Thanks for filing a bug report. The low-hanging fruit here is the nvidia driver since the VGA Q-LED was on. It may not be the cause, but it at least lets us say that it still happens when the kernel isn't tainted. Can you replicate this with the nvidia module blacklisted? A power-button wake with WOL armed would be useful as well, as this determines whether the NIC merely being awake is causing issues, or whether it's the wake-up *event* from the NIC.
If it stills occurs after both of those, you could try installing the mainline 7.0 kernel to see if this is an Ubuntu issue or an upstream issue. The mainline kernel packages can be found here: https://kernel.ubuntu.com/mainline/ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2170503 Title: ath12k WCN7850: system hangs on resume from suspend when WoWLAN magic- packet is enabled To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2170503/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
