Thanks for the confirmation. For the kernel team: I have been running the Resolute 7.0 kernel with this one-line change applied locally (rebuilt ttm.ko) since 2026-09-09, including on 7.0.0-38.38, with no recurrence across regular suspend-then-hibernate cycles, versus roughly one crash in four cycles before.
The attached [SRU][Resolute] patch is the squashed equivalent of the two upstream commits (3db7d7d58341 + fcfe64715b42, in v7.3-rc4 and 7.2.8). I am happy to verify a kernel from resolute-proposed as soon as one is available. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2168554 Title: drm/ttm: use-after-free of the bulk_move cursor after hibernation or memory-pressure swapout (amdgpu), fixed upstream in v7.3-rc4 / 7.2.8 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2168554/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
