Thanks for the review Chris. These are good questions. Regarding those hwdb changes, these values are taken from standardized places like https://standards-oui.ieee.org/oui/oui.txt. I agree that since the values exist, changing them does pose non-zero regression potential, but in my opinion the benefit of having these correct and up- to-date outweighs the slight potential regression.
And yes, the parse_hwdb.py change is from a `ruff format` run. The DBus signature change in analyse-security.c is fixing a bug on the client side. The *real* signature has always been "(bas)".
