Same hardware, still affected on Ubuntu 26.04 (kernel 7.0.0-29-generic):
internal speakers/headphone/mic are not detected — only HDMI (HD-Audio
Generic) is listed, and the boot log shows:
platform acp_asoc_acp70.0: warning: No matching ASoC machine driver
found
To make SRU/triage easier, here is the exact upstream context:
[1] Fix for this model exists in mainline (NOT in the 7.1 stable series):
commit 27d090f3ccd4 "ASoC: amd: acp: add ACP70 DMI override for new ASUS
TUF platforms" (AMD, merged 2026-07-13)
- File: sound/soc/amd/acp-config.c, function snd_amd_acp_find_config()
- Adds DMI overrides for "ASUS TUF Gaming A14 FA401EA" and "ASUS TUF Gaming
Vivobook 18" so the wrong ACP ACPI config flag is skipped and the intended
SoundWire machine driver is selected.
- Verified: present in v7.2-rc6 (acp-config.c, DMI_MATCH "TUF Gaming A14
FA401EA"), absent in v7.1.7.

kernel (linux-generic / linux-hwe-26.04)? I can test a proposed kernel
build on this exact machine (FA401EA) and report back. Let me know if
