Also affected — same hardware: ASUS TUF Gaming A14 / TX Air FA401EA (PCI
1022:15E2 rev 70, subsystem 1043:1724).

Current state on Ubuntu 26.04 (kernel 7.0.0-29-generic): internal
speakers/headphone still not detected — only HDMI (HD-Audio Generic)
appears; boot log shows "acp_asoc_acp70.0: No matching ASoC machine
driver found".

Upstream note: commit 27d090f3ccd4 ("ASoC: amd: acp: add ACP70 DMI
override for new ASUS TUF platforms", merged 2026-07-13) includes this
exact model (FA401EA), and kernel Bugzilla 221310 is marked fixed. Could
this be backported to the Ubuntu 7.0 generic kernel (SRU)? Happy to test
a proposed kernel build as soon as it is available. Thanks!
