This still appears to be an issue in resolute, though the path affected
has changed to /etc/profile.d/virtualenvwrapper.sh. Items under /etc
aren't removed by apt unless the package is purged, so it's expected
that the file remains, however it's arguably not really a piece of
configuration, so the postrm maintscript could simply remove it.
Alternatively, we could patch the script to check for the existence of
the thing it sources first.
I'll have a think about the best way to handle this (I'm leaning towards
maintscript removal). In the meantime, the workaround is simply to "apt
purge" instead of "apt remove" the package.
