On 26.04: I can confirm that build works there. I'm running it on a Dell Latitude 7420 (BCM58200, 0a5c:5843) on Ubuntu 26.04, and both enrol and fprintd-verify work, including GDM login. That's with the current 5.15.285 binary, so I take your point that a future Broadcom update could change things.
Thanks for the debian/watch pointer too. I'll track upstream from there for any future version bumps rather than pinning the OEM-channel build. And thanks for reaching out to the uploaders. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2099655 Title: [needs-packaging] libfprint-2-tod1-broadcom To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/oem-priority/+bug/2099655/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
