The libfprint-2-tod1-broadcom builds in ppa:medicalwei/dell-cv3-cv3plus
cover 22.04, 24.04, 25.04, and 25.10, but I could not find this package
in the Ubuntu archive for any release, and there is no 26.04 (resolute)
build of it yet. The CV3 Plus packages from #2099289 do cover 26.04, but
not this ControlVault 3 driver. Is an archive upload, via ubuntu-drivers
per the note above, still on the roadmap?

In the meantime I've put together an independent packaging that installs
the same driver on the two current LTS releases:

ppa:elementmerc/latitude-fingerprint (libfprint-2-tod1-broadcom-
installer)

It doesn't redistribute the driver. Just downloads it from Canonical's
archive at install time, verifies a pinned SHA256, and installs it, so
it stays on the right side of both the redistribution terms and the
fprintd licence concern raised above.

Tested on a Dell Latitude 7420 (BCM58200, USB 0a5c:5843) running 26.04:
enrol and fprintd-verify both working. Source is AGPL-3.0 at
https://github.com/elementmerc/latitude-fingerprint.

Happy to help move the official packaging forward if its of any help.
