Tested on a VM, everything goes well, until the very last step with the re-install of apparmor. The VM hangs after entering the password after logging out??? I reset the VM, did a restart, then logout-login works.
Before doing a restart, logging-in failed two times. It seems I had to do a restart for logout-login to work again. Resetting the VM wasn't enough. Then I tried the re-install again, and this time everything worked, including the logout-login. Re-installing apparmor does not delete the "gnome-thumbnail-factory" folder, or asks for a restart. Also for this step, I would have to manually create a "gnome-thumbnail- factory" folder, correct?
