Public bug reported:

Inside a riscv64 Ubuntu 26.04 VM I try to boot a nested VM.

An error

sysfs: cannot create duplicate filename
'/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:01.1/resource0'

occurs.

https://github.com/xypron/bug_sysfs_duplicate_filename has the files
needed for reproduction.

The problem only occurs for acpi="on" and not for acpi="off".

The kernel version of both VMs is 7.0.0-14-generic.

** Affects: linux-riscv (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
