I was premature in my above comment and conclusions. EVEN with matching zfs kernel module and userspace package, I continue to see a severe throughput degradation between 6.8 -> 6.14/17:
Tested on Feb. 11th, 2025: 6.17 test results: https://pastebin.ubuntu.com/p/2ghdB5vVPq/ ~50Mb/s on a 12-disk zfs pool 6.8 test results: https://pastebin.ubuntu.com/p/m7bPRq7t8f/ ~ 500Mb/s on same 12-disk zfs pool Am I going crazy or is this a bug. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2119470 Title: ZFS I/O Performance degredation on 6.14 kernel To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/zfs-linux/+bug/2119470/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
