Attached is the debdiff with the fix for this bug (updating to upstream
version 6.2.7).

Unfortunately the "brlaser" source package is not in my PPU package
list. Can therefore somebody with appropriate rights sponsor this
upload, so that it makes it into Plucky?

The changes on the code are very small, so there is practically no
regression potential. Most of the changes is the addition of new printer
model entries so that the driver gets automatically set up with more
printers which need it.
