Public bug reported: There is a bug in the brlaser driver which scrambles the "back" page of a duplex print-out (at least on my MFC-L2710DW).
I made a bug report to the brlaser folks on github, which also shows an example of the scrambled page: https://github.com/pdewacht/brlaser/issues/228 A contributor of brlaser acknowledges a known bug in duplex printing which has been fixed in v6.2.7. Is there a PPA with the newer version? Thanks Michael $ lsb_release -rd No LSB modules are available.
