Having talked to En-wei in person, he verified linux-firmware in noble and oracular -proposed as what he commented in #8. The intention is to enable this in oem-6.11 with linux-firmware in Noble. The SRU justification in the bug description should be more clear to reflect this, especially the Test Plan.
