Public bug reported:

After upgrading to 24.04 I frequently have icons of apps ive launched
through the dock (gnome-terminator for example, occurred once on a stock
fresh install I had not set up yet) get stuck on the desktop and bleed
through all apps (visible at all times, breaks up the UI of all active
apps)

attached screen shot shows "screenshot from 2025-03-26 07-52-23.png @
100& (layer 0,rgb/8)* " pinned onto the desktop and bleeding through all
applications.

this particular glitchout, i wont swear it isnt wine related.

but it randomly occurred just from launching a gnome based app eg
terminator on stock 24.04.2 with no other packages or mods (terminator
is usually first thing i install) installed, eg wine.
