Today in the morning I installed my old Radeon x550 instead current NVidia 6600GT. And it works! At least system is booting from LiveCD... freezing a little, but I hope that after installing everything will be fine.
I surprised a little, because considering that ATI give more headache with Ubuntu instead of NVidia. Especially on notebooks. Am I right? Well, now I think I have to buy new videocard. I need your advice, guys. Which one will work fine with Ubuntu? 8600GT is fine? Is it anywhere list of recommended hardware? Thank you for patience.
