Public bug reported:

How to run Ubuntu on a HP-Victus (I7-Cpu + Geforce RTX GPU)?
I have already tested some things from forums, but unfortunately Ubuntu 22.04
still does not run stable on this hardware.
I have already tested the kernel boot options idle=nomsi, idle=nomwait and
intel_pstate=disable. Whereby intel_pstate=disable gave the best stability.
If the computer dims the screen after several minutes without moving the mouse,
it cannot be ‘woken up’ again either by the external mouse or by pressing any
key. The only option is to press and hold the power button.
I use the following version:
Linux hp-Victus-by-HP-Gaming-Laptop-16-r0xxx 6.8.0-50-generic
#51~22.04.1-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Thu Nov 21 12:03:03 UTC 2 x86_64 x86_64
