Public bug reported: I accepted a "restart to install changes" request box yesterday, and my screen immediately started to show corruption on the scan lines which the mouse pointer has recently been on.
The corruption only happens on the built-in laptop display; external monitors are not affected. I have tried a reboot, and an "apt-get update; apt-get dist-upgrade" followed by a reboot, and neither of these had any effect. The machine is a Dell XPS13, running Ubuntu 24.04 LTS.
