Public bug reported: Fresh install of Ubuntu 22.04 on multi-boot system.
Steps: 1. Switch on computer. 2. You see for about 10 seconds a black screen instead GRUB MENU. 3. After 10 seconds Ubuntu boots normally. Extra tests: - During the 10 seconds of black screen, I can press ENTER and Ubuntu will boot. - I thought that maybe grub menu was just not visible but still there, so I've tried to use "arrow keys" (up and down) to select a different system and then press Enter... but nothing happened, the screen remained black. ** Affects: grub2 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: jammy ** Tags added: jammy -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1965689 Title: Black screen instead grub menu at boot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/1965689/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
