** Description changed: [ Explanation ] - rapid-photo-downloader 0.9.31 has been released for compatiblity with + rapid-photo-downloader 0.9.32 has been released for compatiblity with Python 3.10. Unfortunately, it also has new dependencies, including an entirely new package (in progress, showinfilemanager https://github.com/damonlynch/showinfilemanager). As such, these new dependencies are to enable at least one new feature in rapid-photo- downloader. As it stands now, rapid-photo-downloader will fail to run in jammy due to the python 3.10 update. Original Bug Report: To run Rapid Photo Downloader with Python 3.10 (now the default in jammy), the rapid-photo-downloader package must be updated to version - 0.9.31. If it is not, it will crash at startup. + 0.9.32. If it is not, it will crash at startup. I am the developer of Rapid Photo Downloader and I am happy work with Ubuntu packagers to get this done. The volunteer Debian packager has not responded to package update requests for some months. I think it reasonable to assume he will not likely be able to contribute before jammy is released.
