As a very inactive release-team member, this request sounds fine to me, but the details are still somewhat vague here.
We need to get that new dependency packaged and in the archive ASAP. As to a new upstream version for 3.10 support, sure if that's the easiest way to got 3.10 support, do it. The package sounds broken enough now that that's a no-brainer. It would be good to have a diff to review, to make a less hand-wavey decision. Presumably a minimal patch to support 3.10 is also possible, as an alternative, but I don't have any objection to a new upstream version. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1963694 Title: [FFe] Update rapid-photo-downloader for Python 3.10 compatibility To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rapid-photo-downloader/+bug/1963694/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
