echo "options nct6683 force=1" >> /etc/modprobe.d/sensors.conf to enable the nct6683 driver on non-Intel boards. Does it work for you? See [2] for documentation on the parameter. I'm setting the status of this bug report to Incomplete for the moment. Please change it to Invalid if setting force=1 works for you and you agree this is not really a bug. On the other hand, if you still believe this is a bug in Ubuntu, please follow-up with your reasoning and set its status back to New, we'll look at it again. Thanks!
