Renamed directory, ./_install/bin/simple-scan --debug gives the same problem. changed Paper Size and decrease DPI - same problem but I select 'single page' but then in preferences i see 'multiple pages from flatbed' it's correct? see attached picture. I also craeated a zip file from simple-scan folder and will attach with my next comment.
