I did not want to actually install Ubuntu. I wanted to be able to run it and see how it has progressed since I last used 12.04 from 2012 till 2016 on 3 x machines that were formerly Win XP.
In summary then, my hardware is suspected to be the issue, and if I want to progress to see if the Wayland option helps, I have to install Ubuntu. >From what I have seen so far, I will not proceed with installation. However, I may have to-visit that decision if I am unable to resolve the issue in Win 10 - if I have to rebuild Win 10, I may as well clear it all out and install Ubuntu. Thank you for your perseverance Daniel. Regards, Glenn Stewart On Thu, Dec 3, 2020 at 3:20 PM Daniel van Vugt <1906...@bugs.launchpad.net> wrote: > OK.
