@Steve/vorlon I've on rare occasion booted the L/X/K/ubuntu amd64 in a i386 box as a quick test and expect a message like
"Kernel requires an x86-64 CPU .. i686 detected" I booted the current Lubuntu groovy daily on dell latitude d610 (pentium m, 1.5gb, intel i915) and the grub menu appeared, but then it's just blinking cursor. Do you care? or does this matter? want bug report or ignore?
