Hello, I was able to get the touchpad working on my Lenovo Ideapad 3 15iil05 to function by adding the following arguments to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT.
"i8042.nopnp=1 pci=nocrs" I'm curious as to what this does that makes it work, but I can report that my touchpad works and I have full control of my mouse (one and two finger gestures work just fine).
