Public bug reported:
Ubuntu: 20.04LTS Nautilus: 1:3.36.1.1-1ubuntu2 Double clicking an item in Nautilus should open the item but this doesn't happen in all cases because the display is scrolled. When items are displayed in icon view (as opposed to list view) and there are more items than can be displayed in the window, clicking an item can cause the display to scroll so that the item is no longer under the cursor and so double-clicking is impossible. This only seems to happen if the display has been scrolled down somewhat and clicking the item then causes it to be scrolled to the bottom of the window. In list view the item can be double-clicked without a problem so this is a workaround.
