I will also add a "me too". I am running Gutsy on a Dell Inspiron 8200
with NVidia graphics, running the nvidia driver (glx). It's running
gnome and compiz-fusion.

The problem occurs occasionally for me, usually when pressing Ctrl-Alt-
Left (or Right) to change desktops in Compiz, or in Firefox or other
applications when clicking to scroll up or down. It happens often enough
to be annoying. Slowing down the keyboard repeat delay and rate have not
seemed to help. I cannot turn off repeat; I rely on holding down my
cursor keys when editing source files.

This did not happen under Feisty. (My current install is a fresh install
of Gutsy, not an upgrade.) I was running neither Compiz nor Beryl under
Feisty.

MartinG: I do not think this is a duplicate of #161845. That bug
includes keys not working at all.

Regards,
Bruce
