- open gedit - click on "open" - right-click on directory view and make sure that "Show hidden files" is active - close gedit 2. create problem - open gedit - click on "open" (hidden files should now be shown) - right-click on directory view and uncheck "show hidden files" (the hidden files do not disappear !) - right-click on directory view and check "show hidden files" (the hidden files are now shown twice) I've attached a screencast of the second part It's not the same problem as Marc but I suppose they may well be linked ? ** Attachment added: "gedit-hidden-double.ogg" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/10597568/gedit-hidden-double.ogg -- gedit: trash files do not show in file browser https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/164584 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
