This is still occurring on Ubuntu 18.04.2. Hardware RAID1 & RAID0. Tried adding quick_boot=0 to /etc/grub.d/00_header, no difference. If I remove RAID, works fine.
Also proceeds past the error if I select "Guided - use entire disk" instead of "Guided - use entire disk and set up LVM", but then fails to reboot\boot. Grub is v2.02-2ubuntu8.12.
