I can reproduce this bug (visit http://www.ilbirrificio.it and click on "Prenota un tavolo"). Workaround does not work even if both ~/.mozilla/firefox/firefoxrc and /etc/firefox/firefoxrc are set to FIREFOX_DSP="aoss" -firefox still freezes. My soundcard uses snd_intel8x0
