I agree with Wodz, but I'd go one step further and say the legacy driver
should be the default.  There seems to be a consensus that the rt2x00
module is unusable, and I can't see any reason why users would want an
unusable module as the default.  It also seems to me that most users
would not want to go out of their way to compile a module just so they
can get wireless working properly, and many of them may not even know
that option exists.  I imagine that there are quite a few less
experienced users out there who are not even aware that a solution is
available, they just know that after the Gutsy upgrade the wireless
connection on their PC is buggy and slow.
