Ok but do you know if it's not been ported to Cosmic on purpose (and
they just forgot to remove it from the ubuntu-restricted-addon
recommended packages) or if it's a mistake? If it's on purpose, there's
no real point in reporting it.

Anyway, my bug report is a bit of a different case, as the "extra
codecs" from the Boutique/Welcome doesn't seem to install ubuntu-
restricted-extras but a specific list of packages that you manage (in
the Boutique config files or source code). If the problematic package
has not been ported to Cosmic on purpose and is removed from ubuntu-
resdtricted-extras, the issue will still happen with the
Boutique/Welcome.

And as the Boutique wants to specifically install this missing package,
I was hoping that you would help report it upstream: as developers of
Ubuntu MATE that need it in your software, you'll probably have a bit
more weight to have this fixed faster.
