I have a Sony VAIO VGN-T2XP (ULV processor) and I guess my BIOS is
broken because the Load_Cycle_Count is so extremely huge and grows so
quickly that it can't be true. Maybe other are also broken.

These is the proof of concept:

1. performed an apt-get dist-upgrade in order to be sure that I have the latest
gutsy packages (but not proposed).
2. rebooted and selected recovery mode on the grub menu, so the system is as
idle as possible
3. mount -t debugfs none_debug /sys/kernel/debug
4. date ; smartctl -a /dev/sda | grep Load_Cycle_Count
193 Load_Cycle_Count 0x0032 084 084 000 Old_age Always - 1690304612755
5. blktrace /dev/sda
6. ^C after 5 minutes
7. date ; smartctl -a /dev/sda | grep Load_Cycle_Count
193 Load_Cycle_Count 0x0032 084 084 000 Old_age Always - 1690338167189
8. That makes 33554434 cycles in about 5 minutes!!!

Doesn't my VAIO deserve a prize for such a brave behaviour? ;-)

BTW, I bought it 2 years and a half ago and I don't use it very often.
