Hi there it could be a hardware induced issue indeed, i don't have enough free disk space at the moment to retrace the bug, i'll probably do it in a couple of hours, for the mean time, you could try to reproduce the issue with the livecd to discard hard disk issues, and also could check the output of dmesg, maybe contain something interesting.
