Hi Kristian,

The main purpose of apt-torrent is to provide a new efficient way to get
open-source software. The target is to be more efficient, for users to
get really large packages, but also for servers to minimize their
bandwidth needs, and provide failsafe repository (using multiple
trackers or DHT in torrent files provide fault tolerance even for
servers). Software packages are getting larger and larger every day and
I doubt that it'll change ;). In particular for professional
applications and games.

I made a first Gutsy package for Ubuntu which is in attachment (source +
binary). I also wrote a short installation and testing guide.
