Minimize on click was introduced in Unity Tweak Tool and many users liked it, personally I see no point in classic dock that does not have that functionality, clicking constantly on minimize button requires more mouse work and effort and if I dont use minimize button, but instead use the overview, why bother with a classic dock in the first place? I believe introducing the option for minimize on click in Dock settings would make many users happy.
