I can confirm this. I installed gutsy rc (3 days prior to gutsy release) and this problem appears after every software-upgrade with adept_updater. ie, when a newer version of a program is available, the adept-notifier tells me it's an update. After I've updatet with adept (not apt or aptitude though), the version-upgrade wiz appears (and fails).
