Based on the logs I provided, I received a suggestion to look at
"etc/apt/sources.list" to see if there are any malformed lines or other
errors.

There are 3 lines in that file:

deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty main universe
deb-src http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty main universe
deb [arch=arm64] http://ports.ubuntu.com/trusty main universe

The third line is very suspicious, but I don't know how to fix it.

I tried adding a 4th line: "deb-src [arch=arm64]
http://ports.ubuntu.com/trusty main universe", but that didn't change
the results.

I then removed the "[arch=arm64] from both lines, but that also didn't
change the results
