This is caused by xserver-xorg-input-all pulling -libinput instead of -evdev. Too bad -evdev is in universe now, and reverting the change in zesty probably wouldn't help much because -libinput would not get uninstalled on upgrade.
Guess the only way to fix this properly would be to add code to unity- settings-daemon to support -libinput. ** Package changed: xinput (Ubuntu) => xorg (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1682193 Title: Mouse acceleration significantly reduced after upgrade to 17.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1682193/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
