This is a comment from postfix-users from a Debian user that appears to be experiencing the same problem:
Just wanted to follow up on this. Thank you to everyone who responded. I've discovered that the segfault occurs when a single instance of smtpd receives a connection using GSSAPI authentication for a second user. Works fine for the first connection (and any following GSSAPI auth connections for the same user), will happily handle all connections of other auth types and then segfaults right away on subsequent GSSAPI attempts for any other user. For the moment I'm able to work around the issue by using "-o max_use=1" (yes, I know huge performance hit but load isn't an issue on this box so I can limp like this for a bit). I've setup another smtpd listener on an alternate port and can easily duplicate the issue so I'll try to start debugging it interactively -- segfault in gssapi.c:671 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/145263 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
