Hi Gunnar, below I give my (revised) idea of a "short description". It's basically links to www.ubuntu.com but www.ubuntu.com doesnt organise the info in this way (why not?).

As far as I can see there's no exact equivalent to the above text at www.ubuntu.com (why not?). If there was we could just link to it.
