This is a new bug in evolution 2.12.0-0ubuntu5 and seems to be similar

, but #32089 relates to previous versions of ubuntu.
It is also similar to bugs reported in gnome bugzilla:

, but again these bugs seem to affect much older versions of evolution.
Bug description:
When creating an appointment in evolution calendar two error messages
pop up saying "Incorrect date" and "An error has been detected while
verifying the proper date: The starting date was incorrect" (the
messages are translated from Polish - original messages can be seen in

- impossible to save the appointment.

The same bug is present in the latest final release of openSUSE 10.3, so
I assume it is an upstream gnome bug.
I also checked if the same problem appears in other language versions of
GNOME environment, but the bug affects only the Polish version. I
verified German, Spanish, US English and British English GNOME
environments of 2.20 version of Gnome and none of them seems to be
affected by this bug.
The same problem appears when trying to edit or create contacts with
birthday.
