I am also experiencing this problem. I do not believe that this problem is due to network problems, however, I have not yet pinpoint what the cause is. I am able to use resktop for a variable amount of time, sometimes a couple of minutes, sometimes for an hour before this problem occurs. Mouse movement is fine, but the keyboard is unresponsive.
I am using an up to date Feisty and rdesktop 1.5.0. I am not sure what has changed as I only noticed this problem starting a couple of weeks ago.
