@Tim Hull: I'm afraid to make things even more complicated in this situation... But here are my results: 2.6.22-10 = no problem, 2.6.22-12 = had 1 random hangup on resume, 2.6.22-14 = no problem. Testing method: tried 5 suspend/resume cycles on each kernel with XV and glxgears. I recall I had the same hangups a couple of times before (1/20 rate or so) so it has nothing to do with intel driver recent "loop fix". For me it looks like kernel + X issue and is very obscure and random. This one looks orthogonal to gray blocks. With recent "fixed" intel driver I have no more gray blocks problem with any tested kernel. Thanks. > Are you saying that this does happen with the 2.6.22-12 kernel for you?
